You could always come down with the Auckland Ulysses group?? This is their info on the TOYRUN

    INFO FROM AUCKLAND ULYSSES

Sun- 2nd Mar CAMBRIDGE TO HAMILTON CHILD CANCER TOY RUN. MEDIUM
This is a great chance to show our support and bring a little extra
joy to the lives of families who may need an extra boost. Some
of the children join the ride either as pillion or follow along in
the bus, surrounded by bikes off all types.
Their smiles remind us just why we make this annual run a part
of our calendar. Take a toy to be donated for the Child Cancer
Foundation. Buy a badge and be in the draw for great prices!

    Departs Bombay AutoBahn, 8-30am.

More likely you need to make sure you absolutely don't try to keep up with carver! Until you are comfortable with your skills and abilities.
Not worth the risk mate, just ain't worth it.

haha yeah... definitely not trying to keep up with him. Riding at my own pace and loving it... although I know my technique for turning right isn't as good as my left turns.

Be careful in Cambridge - gotta watch out for a mad fucker in a white truck with Anchor signage delivering milk!

I think I've done two toy runs... I don't think I'll be attending another one... reminds me too much of peak hour traffic in Auckland.

    Canteen charity ride this Sat

Anyone keen to attend this ride http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/ca...end&e=3174&c=1

I'm planning to head over to Bethlehem through Matamata, do the ride to Whanga and prob come back Kopu Hikuwai. 320km all up.

Say meet at Hillcrest Caltex 8:45am Sat, sounds like a good one.

and hopefully then do the Toy Run Sunday.

Well, I changed my brake/clutch fluid today, went to Raglan with Slicksta via Waingaro (from Ngaruawahia) went for a swim, and just washed my bike... quite a successful day. How is everyone else?
