Does it have to be WoF legal? Pyrocam should have one that failed compliance.

Basically you can do anything as long as the bucket doesn't fall apart and this resembles a motorbike with the legal capcity etc. Some Kart tracks have specific regs however. pretty relaxed tho.

    Questions Answered
1)No rules about cutting etc/welding just make sure it doesn't fall apart
    2)Yes there are bucket motards
3)Yes you need a exhaust. But that can be a piece of tubing/home made. As long as its not stuipdly loud.

Who can hook me up with a gear linkage?

Hey bucketeers - can anyone hook me up with a gear linkage?

The box on me bucket is reverse-pattern and I want to swap to regular (too dumb to learn 1-up (to go down), rest down (to go up) er...).

The bucket is an RG150 frame but I think anything can be rigged to it.

    See you at Kaitoke!

I might have a linkage like the pic. I'm not sure. The RG came with a linkage already as std didn't it?

My bad - the image was just for illustrative purposes in case there was some fandangle terminology for 'gear linkage' I don't know about... what's 'fandangle' anywho?

Actually, anything remotely gear-linkage-like that I can bolt, bend or weld into place so I can turn my reverse-pattern into regular pattern shifting would be great...

Here's what the existing appendage looks like:

I THINK these may be the same as a GSX250, RG150 and probably a few other similar size suzukis.
