I hear you can now get Balaclavas in black, what are you waiting for?
"It would be spiteful, to put jellyfish in a trifle."\m/ o.o \m/
I have 3 studs with butterflies in each ear and i dont have any problems. Altho something they push against my head behind my ear but nothing a helmet adjustment cant fix.
Mind you the balaclava idea sounds sweet... have been thinking about getting one to keep my head a bit warmer on the chilli winter days.
GIZY!!
Balaclavas come in black?! How did I not know this! *Runs out to find one* Tee hee
I should be able to get a cheap/free one from my bf so that's sorted
Hehe little socks, I did think about that I could knit little booties with pom poms hehehe Also liking the duct tape idea but OUCH!
I used to have 7 in each ear...thanks to helmets over the years I am down to 4 in 1 and 3 in the other LOL. Had big issues with my latest Shoei when I first got it cos it was super tight to get on and off...OUCH OUCH OUCH!
Its ok now but I still lose the occasional butterfly.
The only way around it is one of those balaclava thingies but ya can still feel them getting yanked around ...
I just put up with it .
...it is better to live 1 day as a Tiger than 1000 years as a sheep...
Me, pretty boring - only one set of holes in each ear, but find that sleepers or studs work best. Long hooks with the sticky-out bits on the end hurt when they press into the side of my head, but have never come out in the process of putting on or removing helmet. Rode into town one day wearing a pair of long danglies and learnt very quickly how annoying it is to have them banging on the outside of the helmet! Most frustrating having to wait till i got to my destination before i could yank them out.
My daughter uses a labret *sp the stud that goes through ones lip as the back is flat and does not dig in to the head.
"I think men who have a pierced ear are better prepared for marriage.
They've experienced pain and brought jewelry." - Rita Rudner
A man is only as big as the dreams he dares to live
I put labrets studs in all the fresher piercings, plus my AWESOME man got me a balaclava and neckwarmer Made a huge difference! Yay for no pain!
New helmet puts a fair amount of pressure on them but it's still an improvement, and I can take it off quickly without looking like a fool lol
Thanks everyone!
Bandaid over each ear - worked on for me when I had four holes in one ear, two in the other. Might have to use those fabric bandaids (extra strong stick factor). And hopefully have long hair to cover the gorgeous apparition when you take your helmet off .....

I have one of these
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=161482458
They are great, and even fit on under my full face
The leather keeps the wind from seeping through, and the fleece inner keeps you warm. Because they velcro around your face your neck is nice and supported in windy conditions, and the gap between your helmet and jacket is fully covered!
Love it love it love it!
