Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.

How do I feel about this? Strange emotions actually. Some nice bikes there. Some serious money behind him obviously. Just bringing them over from the states. . .
You should be able to collect what you want to.
But at what point are you denying the market of some viable bikes? There's a bunch the vmx guys would love to get their hand on for sure.
Is it like land banking?
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
There's arguably someone out there who would use my bike more than I do, or could use it for vital transportation needs. Am I denying the market a viable bike for someone to get their hands (well, hand) on?
I get what you're saying, but if we are going to start drawing lines where do we draw them?
That's why I asked. What are my thoughts and by extension all your thoughts?
I mean I have seven bikes and I currently can't ride any of them.
But after, say 40 bikes, are you taking the piss? He had about 100 by the looks and many that won't get finished.
A chick we used to hang out with's Dad had an AJS (which to my 18 year old mind was probably something that must be special) and a MK4 Zephyr (phoar, eh?). They hadn't gone in years but he wasn't going to sell them. It just seemed criminal (I think I imagined myself cruising with mates in the mk4 which I'd picked up for a grand and poured gas in).

I say no lines drawn! To the victor goes the spoils!
What is it the Americans say ? He who dies with the most toys wins.
I had a Victor.
It was my first car (as I couldn't get that Zephyr).
It was a rolling violation of English engineering and manufacturing skill. I have no idea how they won the war.
I bought my 2nd car about 4yrs ago. It was Japanese.
