think you mean Pat Hennen.
they didn't even have the american national anthem at the circuit when he won, it wasn't expected, whats more Hennen was on a coleman suzuki, supplied by wanganui brothers Bob and Rod Coleman

Fond memories of the Marlboro Series for me . Hennen, Hansford, Wylie, Boote to mention just a few.

I was a big Dale Wylie fan .

I suspect most on Kiwibiker were young fellas in the mid seventies.
I was about 25yrs old ! Oh hell !
