Does it make sense to install an oil cooler on the GN250? Did anyone from the forum do this? Could there be a topic in the forum? Thank you. from Serbia

I'm sure the OP posted Serbia.
Personnally I wouldn't bother. Just change the oil/filter on a routine basis.
Welcome to KB by the way Bluesir. How long have you had the GN?
No need for oil cooler on GN250, just change the oil & filter regularly.
Basically it's difficult and not worth doing IMO. I've done it on a smaller Suzuki single for bucket racing and that was worth doing when you look at the BoB lasting 55 minutes. Pretty much an hour wide open....
A passage in the sidecover has to be filled and oil diverted out then back in again. Not simple.
In the bucket I also went to a larger oil pump from a bigger version as I doubted the OE pump had enough capacity.
Std the GN250 is quite low compression with mild ignition advance - factors which should ensure long life and cool running.
I suspect the GN250 is one of those models very like the cockroach - you can find them everywhere.
When life throws you a curve ... Lean into it ...
Thank you very much for your answers.
I bought a GN250 last month.
Enjoy and take plenty of pics of your journys and share them with us.
