2016 Husqvarna fe 450 motard conversion

Hi fellow bikers. I have been into enduro all my life and love it so much that I want to slam my fe 450 on the road everyday. I do drive it on the eoad at the moment but the enduro tyres in the rain is scary as. I want to know where i can find out what rim sets will work with my husky, keeping in mind the brakr discs and sprocket bolt pattern and pitch. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
I'm pretty sure the Husky has the same dimensions as the Ktms.
I think Torpedo 7 Sell wheelsets that come with different spacer kits etc.
Then you just need big front rotor and adapter for the caliper.
I roll my 2015 Ktm 450 exc most days to work. Great fun!

Question, is a 320mm rotor necessary? For racing I can see the point but for a commuter is stock adequate?

I'm of that thought. My 2t trailies have normal discs but good pads and lines, they stop fine with all fingers squeezing. Can even get a little tail happy.

My intention has been to motard them, too. I managed to get spare wheels so I can chop and change from bitumen to bogs. Still procrastinating on getting 17" rims spoked onto the spares...

Knobbies in the rain? How alive do you feel today?
    Manopausal.
