What do you do with old helmets?

    I have a helmet.
    The wife has a helmet.
I have an old pudding basin & goggles.
Plus my old helmet now acts as a spare.

Beyond this, I have no use for the rest of my old helmets. Do they just go into landfill?
Does anybody have a creative use for old motorcycle crash lids?

Cut them in half and mount them on your lounge wall as a object de-art. Bugger wish I had though of this for my old Arai.

My daughter has just made three big whole-head animal masks using old helmets as the base. They are props for a music video.

    THIS!

But wear them around town, and make a habit of running at people while flailing a little for shits and giggles.

No idea. Something 'different'. Well, different as all the other peeps doing it.

As someone who used to occasionally sport a devil lock and bright blue mohawk for a few years I try not to judge people on their 'fashion' choices...

if it's something like a racer replica arai they make nice garage ornaments for some, including me, otherwise give them to the downtown cart people, the quality of what they've got at the moment is about the same as an icecream container.

Shit no. It's a Davida, and the goggles are genuine Halcyon. Cost me a freaking arm and a leg even at "sale price" at the UK's national motorcycle exhibition. When I go to work in my Harris tweed on my Guzzi I look quite dapper.
I'm not kidding btw (commuting use only).
