    Crikey that is a cool looking bit of kit. You could just get a new muffler for it - the pipe that is on there is nice enough in terms of being mandrel bent and springs and such - doenst look like some cheap piece of shit bodged up by some numpty in a shed somewhere using finest Sparrowcraft (TM) technique.

    3rd bike was for a sale a while ago although is a bit of mongrel with GSXR intruments, aftermarket swingarm and a few other things that don't make it 'original, lasst piccie is of the bike i've brought, the rest are the 25th anniversary model. thanks for taking the time to sort these, appreciated.

    AX883007. august 83 bike number seven from the start of the numbered bikes.

    Got this pic from an article, doesn't scan well as it's black print a dark photo overlay page

    Does say in it that the kits were sold in 1983 for $3199 and included:

    Frame
    Braced swingarm
    Aluminium tank
    Seat unit
    Foot rest assemblies
    Bars & Triple clamp
    Fairing & screen
    Set of S&W shocks

    And the Megacycle Pipes were built on the bikes to suit the frame

    interesting, must be a later article, what mags it in as it's got twin piston calipers, fairing mopunted later model mirrors and a rear hugger, not in fashion in those days.
